Country Sales Manager

Location: Warsaw, Poland – and with regular travel to other cities where stores are located (Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan, Tricity and Prague)

Job Summary:
Less Mess is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead its sales operations teams across all 20 locations. This pivotal role requires a proven leader with a strong background in sales management, customer service excellence, and team leadership. The Head of Sales will be responsible for driving overall sales performance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer service to all customers, and overseeing our corporate sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Performance:
    o  Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets across all locations.
    o  Monitor and analyse sales performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to optimize results.
    o  Drive both individual and business customer sales, including securing new business clients for small storage spaces.
    o  Collaborate with marketing and analyst team to develop effective promotional campaigns and pricing strategies, respectively.

  • Customer Service Management:
    o  Oversee and manage a large customer service team of 36 individuals (and growing), ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional customer service to all customers entering our stores.
    o  Develop and implement customer service standards, policies, and procedures.
    o  Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction, implementing improvements as needed.
    o  Provide coaching, training, and performance management to the customer service team to ensure high-quality interactions and problem resolution.

  • Team Leadership & Development:
    o  Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate the sales and customer service teams to foster a high-performance culture.
    o  Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.
    o  Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.

  • Operational Excellence:
    o  Ensure all sales and customer service operations align with company goals and standards.
    o  Implement best practices for sales processes and customer interaction.
    o  Collaborate with store managers to ensure seamless integration of sales and customer service initiatives at the local level.

  • Reporting & Analysis:
    o  With the analyst team, prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer service metrics, and market trends for senior management.
    o  Utilise data to make informed decisions and optimise sales and customer service strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in sales management, with a significant portion in a multi-location retail or service environment.
  • Proven experience managing large customer service teams (ideally 30+ individuals).
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of customer service best practices and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and2 sales analytics tools.
  • Fluent in Polish and English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Poland to visit all 17 locations.
